Where are the people who stand by night before the Lord to seek His face and to worship Him? Where are those who swear by the name of Lord? Where are those who trust in the Lord with all that they posses? “The eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal {perfect, complete, faithful, trustworthy, reliable} to Him...” 2Chronicles 16:9
God is not looking for those who are wearing smart clothes and speak in an orderly fashion and a manner worthy of kings, He is not really interested on how much you give to the poor, He is not interested on how beautiful or handsome you are (He knows that after all He made you). God's interest is in your heart. Your heart is the throne room where all the orders and laws according to your will are erected. God gave you the will-power. The will-power is power to decide what you want and what you do not want. God is looking for those who are using their will power to acknowledge and to honor Him as the ruler of all hearts. People who are carrying out God's word in relevance to Genesis 1:26 “And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps upon the earth.”
God seek those who understand that they only have to imitate Him and do as He says. Though He was equal with God, (John 1:1; Philippians 2:6) Jesus the Christ humbled Him-self, obeyed God to the point of death and remained loyal to the Father.
When Jesus was talking to a Samaritan woman, a subject of worship was brought into light and so Jesus declared “The hour is coming, and now is, When the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, for the Father ” John 4:23. My opinion of the true worship is the one you do when you are not in church but while you are living your life on daily basis. Your every breath, heartbeat, your speech, your movement, your thoughts and the rest of your activities should reflect glory to God. (Colossians 3:17 & 23) and the spiritual worship is what we see in Romans 8:12-17, Colossians 3:1-4, Ephesians 5:1 – 14 and Galatians 5:22-26
When Saul failed to obey God he was rejected to be king over Israel and was easily replaced by David. God told Samuel that (1 Samuel 16:1; Acts 13:22), he has provided Himself with a man after His own heart. David trusted God and that is why he managed to face the champion of the Philistines with only 5 stones, and a sling short. Many of us want spiritual things to happen and yet are not willing to live a spiritual and honest life before God.
God is looking for those who seek His Kingdom and His righteousness as in Matthew 6:33. Let us draw near to the Father of all spirits and give thanks, blessing and honor. Let us surrender all that we have to Him.
God is looking for you.....
